Hold (“Hold,” “we,” “us”) operates sendhold.link and the Handshake product. By using the service you agree to these terms. Full terms are in active drafting with counsel — this page is a placeholder covering the non-negotiable provisions.

AI-generated output

Hold uses third-party AI models to investigate publicly available information about internet accounts. Outputs are probabilistic estimates, may be incorrect or incomplete, and are not verified. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on Hold's output.

Not a consumer reporting agency

Hold is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Do not use Hold reports for employment, credit, insurance, housing, tenant, or any other FCRA-covered decision.

Prohibited uses

  • Republishing scored reports outside the context of the transaction they were generated for
  • Bulk or automated use of the service
  • Using Hold to harass, defame, or discriminate against any person
  • Any FCRA-covered decision (see above)

Subject rights

If you are the subject of a Hold scan, you may dispute or request deletion at sendhold.link/dispute. We respond within 7 days.

Limitation of liability

Hold is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at $100 or fees paid in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Arbitration & governing law

Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class actions are waived. Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
